CBE Sydney in July


We have a few things happening in July.

Next Monday, the 13th of June, our Southern Sydney Bible Conversations group, who meet monthly, will be going to the Sydney Town Hall for a special Australian Human Rights Commission event to hear the four 2015 Australians of the Year.

ABC journalist and presenter Annabel Crabb will be presenting this special one-off event showcasing all four 2015 Australians of the Year. Each of these impressive Australian women have an inspiring story to tell and are passionate about the human rights issues that drive them.

Rosie Batty, family violence campaigner, Australian of the Year
Jackie French, author, Senior Australian of the Year
Drisana Levitzke-Gray, advocate for the deaf community, Young Australian of the Year
Juliette Wright, social entrepreneur, Australia’s Local Hero

At the end of July we begin our mini conference with Dr Daniel Kirk which will be held at the Trinity Chapel at Robert Menzies College, 136 Herring Road, North Ryde.

Daniel is an associate professor of New Testament at Fuller Theological Seminary. He is an excellent communicator and is passionate about relating the Bible to the culture in which we live.
