The Church of England decides to allow women bishops

As you probably have heard, the Church of England (in England) came to the decision on Monday, July the 14th, to allow women to be ordained as bishops.  There is no shortage of articles concerning this momentous decision.  I have included links to just a five of these below.

At CBE we believe that “all believers—without regard to gender, ethnicity or class—must exercise their God-given gifts with equal authority and equal responsibility in church, home and world.”  So the decision to allow qualified and gifted Christian women to become bishops is welcome news.
